APSLEY REGIONAL MURAL PROJECT

Created in the artist’s hometown of Apsley in the Western Wimmera region of Victoria, this work was commissioned by local community members seeking to reinvigorate their community. Through this work, Martinich’s intention is that it be a basis for stimulating discussion and interest in the area and provide a focus and catalyst for the community to galvanise around as Apsley focuses on future opportunities for the town.
